Receiving my diagnosis of adult ADHD was stop-life moment.
With the mystery of me unearthed at age 47, realizations and revelations of how my ADHD brain had been at work in my life, all my life, consumed me.
I put all my energies into understanding my ADHD along with my past, present and future.
Gradually, my perspective flipped. I chose to change the narrative. I had so much more life to live and lots of work to do.
I redefined my ADHD discovery as a start-life moment instead.
Today, I am the happiest and healthiest I have ever been. I am more comfortable being the real me – infinite imperfections included!
I am an accomplished corporate leader in travel and hospitality (22 years) turned successful entrepreneur and acclaimed public speaker, business coach and positive influencer (16 years and counting!).
I am abundantly grateful to the family, friends and practitioners that were, and will always be, my beacons.
How can I be a beacon of light for you or someone you love? – Stuart Lloyd Cohen
